- 2 Eggs
- ½ tablespoon Chopped Onion
- 2 Green Chilies chopped
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Coriander chopped
- 2 pinches Salt (To Taste)
- ¼ teaspoon Red Chili Powder Substitute: Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Butter To fry Omelette
- 4 Bread Slices
Prepare Eggs For Omelette
In a bowl, add eggs, chopped onion, green chilies, fresh coriander, salt, and red chili powder and beat it to make it a fluffy mixture.
Heat up the frying pan and add butter in the pan at low heat.
Pour ½ of the eggs mixture in heated pan and cook it for about ½ minute on medium heat.
Flip and cook from the other side.
Take it out! and keep it on a side.
Refrying
Now dip the sandwich into the remaining egg mixture.
Brush the pan with butter and fry the sandwich again to give it a sharp toasted color and visible grilled marks from both sides.
Omelette sandwich is ready! Serve the sandwich with hot coffee or tea.
- Season the omelette with spices of your choice.
- Only salt and pepper will work in this recipe.
- To make it more nutritious, add veggies of your choice.
- Never cook the omelette and bread slices at high heat.
- You can make the sandwich crispy or soft as per your taste.
- If you want to make it crispy for long time then don't cover it right after cooking.
- To add a cheesy flavor, add cheese while layering omelette.
- Grilled pan used in this recipe is only to give nice marks on toast. You can also make it in a regular pan.
