Method:
Prepare Papdi Dough:
In a bowl, add Maida ( all purpose flour).
Mix salt, Cumin seeds, cornflour and oil in maida.
Properly mix all the ingredients through hand or spoon.
Now add water to make a dough.
Make a soft dough.
Cover the dough and keep it for 45 mins.
After 45 mins, make a small
Steps to Roll Papdi:
Take a small portion of dough and make a smooth small ball through hands.
Roll it using the rolling pin and make a big roti.
Now cut the roti in small portion using circular cutter or any bottle cutter.
Now, take out the cutting part and place in platter.
Again, roll the rest of the cutting of dough and make a ball and again roll it to make other papdi’s.
Now you can repeat step 3 and 4 to make further.
Deep Fry the Papdi:
Add oil in a pan/walk for deep frying
Initially, keep the temperature high.
Now place 1st batch of papdi in hot oil and keep the flame to medium so it get crunchy texture.
Flip the papdi as it get light brown color from one side.
Now on medium flame, keep frying the papdi’s until it get brown color.
Take out on kitchen paper so it absorbs the extra oil.
