Ingredients

For Chicken Seasoning:

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika Powder

For Chicken Coating & Frying

  • 2 tablespoon All Purpose Flour – 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour – 1 Tbsp
  • ½ teaspoon Salt – ½ Tsp
  • teaspoon Garlic Powder – ⅓ Tsp
  • teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • teaspoon Paprika Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Butter

For Garlic Sauce

  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Grated
  • 1 medium size Onion Chopped
  • teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Cream

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Now in another bowl, add all purpose flour, cornflour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and paprika and mix well.
  • Now coat the chicken breast pieces in flour.
  • Heat up the pan with oil and butter.
  • Fry chicken pieces from both sides.
  • Take out chicken from the pan as it turns to golden brown color.
  • Now in the same pan, grate the garlic cloves and make it aromatic.
  • Add chopped onion and caramelized it with grated garlic.
  • Now turn the temperature to lower and pour greek yogurt cream. You can also use fresh cream if you don’t have yogurt cream.
  • Stir continuously for few seconds until the cream mix well with onion and garlic.
  • Now place fried chicken pieces in this creamy garlic sauce.
  • Cover and simmer for 15 minutes on low medium heat.
  • After 15 minutes, the chicken will be ready to serve.
  • Adjust the salt and pepper if it requires.
  • Garnish with cilantro/coriander.

Notes

  • For frozen chicken breasts bring it to room temperature before cooking.
  • If the chicken breasts are thick then slice from middle or hammer it to make it lean. In this way the chicken will be tastier after cooking.
  • Shallow frying of the crispy breasts makes it delicious as the pores of meat closed due to frying which makes the chicken extremely delicious.
  • If you think the breast is drying while cooking in a garlic sauce then add some broth/stock or water.
  • Avoid overcooking.
  • If the chicken breast seems to be hard then simmer in chicken broth for a few minutes. In this way, the chicken will be moist and juicy.
  • Avoid over-frying the chicken.
  • Control the temperature during frying and simmering.
  • The addition of double garlic in form of freshly chopped garlic and garlic powder will add a strong garlicky aroma and taste. Over-addition can make the taste bitter so use it according to the recipe direction.
