Ingredients

  • cup Rooh Afza
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Basil Seeds
  • ½ liter Chilled Water
  • 1 pinch Dry Mint
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • In a jug, add chillied water, rooh afza syrup, lemon juice, soaked basil seeds and ice cubes.
  • Mix well!
  • Sprinkle dry mint at the top. If you don't have dry mint then add fresh mint or skip!!

Notes

  • Don’t add sugar as rooh afza itself is extremely sweet in taste.
  • If you are making citric flavor then add fresh lemon. Don’t add bottle lemon juice.
  • Colorless carbonated drink can be use on a place of water if you like soda flavor. Avoid carbonation if you are making for Ramadan iftar.
  • Rooh afza is already flavored with rose so don’t add any other flavoring agent like rosewater, kewra or other flavoring essence.
  • Always use soaked basil seeds (tukum e Balanga) in your drink.
  • Chia seeds can also be used.
  • Rooh afza drink can be stored in refrigerator.
  • Never store Rooh Afza syrup bottle in refrigerator or freezer.
