  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Oil – ⅓ Cup
  • Egg – 1
  • Baking powder – ⅓ Tsp
  • Vanilla Essence – ⅓ Tsp
  • Salt – 2 Pinches
  • All-Purpose Flour Maida – 1.5 Cup

Instructions

  • Method:
  • Take a bowl, mix sugar and oil using a whisk.
  • Now Add Egg, Baking powder, Vanilla Essence and Salt and again give a good whisk to mix all ingredients.
  • Sieve the flour and gradually add in the mixture and mix well.
  • Knead the dough to make it smooth (watch the video tutorial to note the steps).
  • Place the dough on rolling board and using hand make a long rectangular strip. Cut the dough in small rectangular pieces.
  • Mark the biscuit using a fork.
  • Set biscuits in the mould.
  • Place in preheated pan for 40-50 minutes on low heat.
  • If you are using oven then place it in preheated oven on 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 to 12 minutes.
  • After 45 minutes of baking on the pan. Take it out and serve with hot tea.
