Ingredients

  • Potatoe Cubes - 2 medium size
  • Oil - 1 Tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds - ½ Tsp
  • Onion Slices - 1 medium size
  • Grated Garlic - 1 clove
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Red Chili Powder - ½ Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - ⅓ Tsp
  • Tomato cubes - 1 big
  • Black pepper powder - ⅓ Tsp
  • Green chilies slices - 2
  • Water - 300 ml to make gravy

Instructions

  • Take 2 medium size potatoes and cut into pieces.
  • Now place oil - 1 tablespoon in a pan and heat it up.
  • Add onion slices, cumin seeds and grated garlic in hot oil. Saute for a minute on medium heat.
  • As the onion start changes color then add salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder and stir to mix all the ingredients together.
  • Add Tomato cubes to make a smooth gravy.
  • Cook until getting smooth-textured gravy.
  • Add potato cubes and mix well.
  • Add 300 ml of water and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat until potatoes get soft.
  • Add black pepper and green chilies slices. Mix well. Cover for 5 minutes to get steamy.
  • Ready to Serve!

Notes

  • Use starchy potatoes as it brings good taste to bhujia.
  • Cut potatoes like cube or square. 
  • Never cook potatoes for too long. 
  • Don't make it watery. 
  • Serve with soft roti or naan.
  • Best for lunch to eat with steamed rice and daal.
