Equipment

  • pan/skillet/tawa

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 clove Grated Garlic
  • 1 Green Chilli Sliced
  • teaspoon Red Chilli Powder – ⅓ Tsp
  • 1 Onion Small / Chopped
  • 3 teaspoon Carrot Chopped
  • 3 teaspoon Capsicum Chopped
  • 2 pinches Salt
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 teaspoon Butter
  • 2 Bread Slices
  • 2 tablespoon Chilli Garlic Tomato Ketchup To spread on bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon Mozzarella Cheese – 1 Tbps

Instructions

  • In a pan, add oil and heat it up.
  • Now add grated garlic, green chillis, and red chilli powder.
  • Saute for a few seconds.
  • Then add onion, carrot, and capsicum.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Now add cheddar cheese and mix well again.
  • Keep it on the side and cool it down.
  • In the meanwhile, take bread slices.
  • Spread chilli garlic tomato sauce on toast.
  • Place veg stuffing over the toast.
  • Now sprinkle mozzarella cheese to cover the toast.
  • In a pan, brush butter.
  • Place bread slices on pan and toast on low heat.
  • Cover the pan for 5 minutes so the cheese get melt.
  • Make sure the heat is low otherwise the toast will toast dark from the bottom.
  • After 5 minutes, remove toast and cut diagonally.
  • Veg chilli cheese toast is ready to serve.

  • Add variation in the topping as per your availability.
  • Mozzarella, cheddar, cottage, and sandwich slice cheese can be used. 
  • Toast on slow heat.
  • Don't cook for long time.
  • You can bake or grill the slices.
