Chicken Marination Step
Take 5 to 6 pieces of drumsticks in a marination bowl.
Sprinkle salt to all over.
Apply cut marks to all drumsticks to make it juicy and tender after cooking.
Sprinkle black pepper to all the drumsticks.
Now add ginger garlic paste.
Add lemon juice and mix well to marinate the chicken.
Here you have 2 options:
Left Chicken for marination for 2 hours
In a pan, add marinated chicken to make it steamy and tender. Cook it for about 15 minutes and make sure its 70% done and rest will complete on frying.
In this recipe, I opted for the option 2.
Prepare Chicken Coating/Crust:
In 3 separate bowls, add All-purpose flour (maida), Cornflour and water.
Now step by step, coat the drumstick on maida then water then cornflour.
Repeat the step 3 times. It will make the crispy crust and will add luster to chicken.
Deep Frying the Chicken
In a wok, add oil for deep frying and on high temperature add chicken one by one.
After few seconds as the chicken gets a strong coat turn the flame to medium temperature to cook the chicken from inside.
As the chicken becomes golden. Take it out on Kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.
Now Chicken Lollipop is ready to serve.
