Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 Tomatoes
  • teaspoon Salt
  • teaspoon Black Pepper
  • teaspoon Chili Powder
  • teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven at 200°C or 392°F.
  • Wash the tomatoes and diced them perfectly.
  • Place them in a baking tray. Make sure to line up the aluminium foil
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
  • Drizzle olive oil with a generous hand.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Broil the tomatoes for 15 minutes to get the perfect roasted texture.
  • Serve and store in airtight glass container for later use.

Notes

  • Use pulpy tomatoes to get the perfect roasted texture.
  • Avoid removing the skin of tomatoes to create a perfect roasting texture. If you are allergic to the skin then remove it after roasting or while serving. 
  • Don't bake for too long otherwise, the tomato shape will be deformed. 
  • Broil the tomatoes to get churred texture. 
  • You can make variations in spices and add herbs to make it tasty as per your taste.
