- 6 Dates
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 250 ml Milk Use plant based milk for vegan
Wash and dry the dates and remove the seeds. Make a cut from middle and easily remove the seed.
In a blender, add chilled milk, deseeded dates and drizzle honey.
Give it a good blend for few minutes to make it creamy and smooth in texture.
Pour in glasses and serve.
- Use soft dates to make the restaurant-style date shake.
- Avoid sugar as dates are naturally sweet so take that benefit.
- Add honey as a natural sweetener. Date shake without ice cream have better taste.
- Must try with 3 ingredients and you will feel the difference. It will be high in calories if using ice cream.
- Add banana with dates to 2x the benefits.
- You can also make date shake with almonds. Soak the almonds for 2 hours before blending in milk.
- Few drops of vanilla or pineapple essence will add a new aroma and flavor to dates milkshake.
- Try it with different combinations to enjoy it. Add Nutella if making for picky kids. They will love the taste.
