- 1 cup Yogurt (Dahi)
- 1 Green Chili (Hari Mirch)
- 1 clove Garlic (Lehsun)
- 1 tablespoon Green Coriander (Hara Dhania)
- ½ teaspoon Salt (Nama– ½ Tsp
- 1 pinch Black Salt (Kala Namak)
- 1 pinch Black Pepper Powder (Pisi Kali Mirch)
In a blender, add full-fat yogurt (without water),
Also add green chili, garlic clove, green coriander, and salt.
Now give it a good blend to blend all ingredients in a smooth paste.
Take it out in a bowl.
Sprinkle black salt and black pepper powder and give it a good mix.
If the raita is too thick then add water or milk.
Biryani raita is ready to serve!
- If the yogurt is sour in taste then add little milk to adjust the taste.
- Don’t make raita with curdled yogurt.
- Both full-fat or low-fat yogurt can be used.
- Use thick yogurt to get the best taste of raita.
- If the raita gets thin in texture then add beaten yogurt to adjust the consistency.
