Set Baking Pan on Stovetop

  • Preheat the big pan on the stovetop on high heat.
(Watch the video tutorial for quick understanding).
  • Place any stand to maintain the height from the bottom. Add water in pan and make it steamy before placing the cookie pan in the middle of the pan over the stand.
  • Place the cookies pan over the stand and securely cover the pan.
  • Bake the cookies for 20 minutes. Initially keep the temperature high for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the cookies will start to rise. Open the pan and place the chocolate chip cookies at the center of the cookies.

Notes

  • Always preheat the stove top pan before placing the baking pan.
  • Make variations in cookie's flavor according to your taste.
  • Baking on stovetop, make sure to place an stand at the bottom of the pan to adjust a suitable distance between the bottom and pan. 4 to 5 inches distance will be ideal as it will save your baking dish to burn.
  • Wisely monitor the stove top temperature to cook brownies. Initially bake on the high temperature of stove top for 5 minutes then turn the heat to medium to low to puff the brownies from inside.
  • Use the proper pan to cook cookies on the stovetop. Nonstick is ideal as per my experience.
  • Use safety accessories like gloves or tong to handle the pan.
  • Check the cookies with a fork before taking out from the pan.
  • Stovetop cookies will take 30 to 35 minutes to properly cook on medium to low temperature.
