Make An Omelette Batter
Break 2 eggs in bowl with white and yolk.
Add chopped onion, green chilies, fresh coriander, and spices like red chili powder and black pepper powder in an egg bowl.
Add salt according to taste.
Beat the eggs until it gets fluffy.
In the meanwhile, dip the circular bread slices into beaten egg mixture and coat them properly on each side.
Cooking Process
Now heat the frying pan and grease with oil/butter.
Place the egg-coated bread in the pan on low temperature.
Don't place bread sliced on high temp as it will color the bread fast which will not create the desire result in terms of taste.
Flip the bread as it gets light brown from one side.
As both sides get brown then keep it in a kitchen pepper to absorb the excessive oil.
Arrange the bread slices into the platter and serve it with Karak Tea / Coffee.
- Use a big round cutter to cut the bread to use the maximum size (diameter). Use the remaining part of bread to make breadcrumbs. You can make this recipe with bread crumbs.
- Add the spices as per the taste.
- To add more value, you can add diced-sized veggies like tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, and broccoli.
- Always fry on lower heat to get the perfect result. In this way, the egg and bread both will toast from the inside.
- Serve hot with your favorite breakfast sauce. I like to pair it up with House sauce.
- Mozzarella, cheddar, and cottage cheese can be used to add more taste to this recipe.
- Use the grilled pan or nonstick omelet pan to avoid sticking or burning issues.
