How to Make Tea Biscuits Recipe Card
Ingredients
Sugar - ½ Cup
Oil - ⅓ Cup
Egg - 1
Baking powder - ⅓ Tsp
Vanilla Essence - ⅓ Tsp
Salt - 2 Pinches
All-Purpose Flour (Maida) - 1.5 Cup
Method:
- Take a bowl, mix sugar and oil using a whisk.
- Now Add Egg, Baking powder, Vanilla Essence and Salt and again give a good whisk to mix all ingredients.
- Sieve the flour and gradually add in the mixture and mix well.
- Knead the dough to make it smooth (watch the video tutorial to note the steps).
- Place the dough on rolling board and using hand make a long rectangular strip. Cut the dough in small rectangular pieces.
- Mark the biscuit using a fork.
- Set biscuits in the mould.
- Place in preheated pan for 40-50 minutes on low heat.
- If you are using oven then place it in preheated oven on 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 to 12 minutes.
- After 45 minutes of baking on the pan. Take it out and serve with hot tea.
