    Oreo Cake Recipe

Do you want to make quick cake with oreo cookies? Here is homemade 3 ingredient cake idea that anyone can make without having cake making expertise. I prepared this cake without oven.

It's not a no bake version as I bake it on stovetop by keeping the cake pan in a regular pan. Isn't it sound amazing to make cake on stovetop? Yes it is! and I love my baking results on stovetop. Last time, I shared stovetop brownies that you all loved.

If you are going to try this recipe and not comfortable to cook cake in oven then place the cake pan in preheated oven at 180C and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. It can also be prepared in microwave, air fryer and sandwich maker.

    Ingredients & Substitutions

Oreo Cookies: Used almost 15 to 20 cookies and crushed it to make cake flour.

Milk: Used full fat milk in this recipe. Condensed or any evaporated milk can also be used to make the cake batter.

Sugar - 5 teaspoon (optional): Use powder sugar to add extra sweetness in cake however it's optional to use.

Baking Powder - ⅓ teaspoon (optional): To get the best result and to enhance the puffing process of sponge cake, used ⅓ teaspoon of baking powder.

All Purpose Flour: The addition of white flour with crushed oreo cookies provide option to make the cake flour.

How to Make Oreo Cake with 3 Ingredients

    Step 1: Prepare Cake Batter

Dunk the cookies in milk and let them soak for 2 minutes then give it a good mix with spatula or spoon.

In a blender, add soaked cookies, sprinkle baking powder and all purpose flour and give it a good mix.

Step 2: Set the Cake Pan

Set the cake pan by placing greased butter paper / parchment paper. Pour the cake batter in mold and Tap a bit on kitchen counter or table to remove air bubbles.

    Step 3: Baking

Now place the mold in Pre-heated pan.

On stovetop, preheat the deep pan by adding little water in it. As the water boils, add a stand in the middle of the pan to avoid direct heat and place the cake pan over it and cover the lid.

Bake the cake in pan for about 30 minutes on low/medium heat.

Instruction for Oven: If you are using oven then bake at 180 degrees (Gas mark 4) for 20 to 23 minutes.

After 25 minutes, check the cake by inserting a knife. If its clean from both sides then remove the cake from pan and cool it down to demold. Otherwise, give an extra 5 to 6 minutes to get ready.

Demold the cake and cut the slices as you want.. Cake is ready to serve!! Happy watching and have a Happy eating time with your friends and family.
