    Stove Top Brownies

I never thought that my stove top brownies could be a game changer for me as it's super chewy and incredibly soft and moist from inside.

I have tried brownies in oven, microwave and even in sandwich toaster but it was first time when I cook on stove top and the result was amazing. So let's share with you guys to make brownies in your pan without oven. You can say, it's a cooking hack that can turn your stove top pan into a oven for baking. Isn't it amazing? I am excited to share so let's delve into it..

Recipe of brownies varies according to different tastes and textures made by different chefs. Normally people like chewy brownies with ice cream topping.

Here, I am making Eggless brownies with cocoa powder without using the oven (that's the exciting part). I will bake on the stove using a normal pan just putting the mould inside the pan over the stand. Very simple and easy method and keep you safe from lots of cleaning after baking.

Many people ask me, if is there any difference in the result so I would say. It will be the same brownies flavor and texture that you take out from the oven.

    Setup For Stove Top

Well, I used non stick deep pan to make the oven for brownies. Place small stand at the middle of the pan to maintain a distance between bottom and brownies mould. You can use any steel rack or simple steel glass or whatever convenient and available to you to this hack. Add some water in pan to make heat with steam. It will help to puff the brownies without getting them dry. Then place the brownies baking pan/mould over the stand and cover the lid to pan to secure the heat and stem. Make sure to use the baking pan that can conveniently fix in pan.

    Ingredients

    Chocolate chips - ½ Cup | Butter - 2 Tbsp | All-Purpose Flour - 1 Cup | Cocoa Powder - 2 Tbsp | Sugar - ½ Cup | Baking Soda - ⅓ Tsp | Baking Powder - ¼ Tsp
    Salt -
    1 Pinch | Vanilla Essence - ¼ Tsp

How to Cook Brownies Without an Oven

In a bowl, add chocolate chips and butter. Microwave for 30 seconds and make a thick paste chocolate paste.

Next, In another bowl sieve add all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients. Add vanilla essence and chocolate paste to make a thick paste. Mix all the ingredients together using the whisk.

Setup the mould. Brush oil in mould and place butter paper. Pour the cake mixture in the mould. Tap the mould to avoid any air pockets in the mixture.

Place in Preheated pan (Add water in pan to make the brownie moist and chewy). Place Any Stand at bottom To Avoid Burning. Over the stand place the brownie mould.

Cook the brownies for 30 - 35 minutes. Make sure to check After 25 Minutes.

Quick Tip: Initially Keep the temperature of stovetop at high side then after 5 minutes turn it to medium to low to get properly cooked moist and puffy brownies.

Alternative Method: Place the baking pan in preheat oven and bake at 350 F. degrees (or 180C., Gas mark 4) for 35 minutes.

How to Confirm the Brownies are Done?

After 30 minutes - Check with a knife or fork. Prick it and if comes out clean then the brownies are done. Remove it from stove top and let it cool to properly cut down into cubes.

Spread chocolate milk paste over the brownies and sprinkle cocoa powder over the top of brownies. Cut into pieces! and Enjoy.
