    What is Rooh Afza Milk?

    Rooh afza in milk is famous as Rooh Afza Milkshake or Sharbat. Local people in India and Pakistan can easily recognize this recipe with desi Doodh ka Sharbat.

    Rooh afza is red syrup ready made drink widely available all across Pakistan and India. You can easily find it from Pakistani and India grocery store if you are living abroad with export quality tag. I never had any problem to track it in UAE, America and Australia.

    If you are in love with Mohabbat ka Sharbat then you will love this reicpe. Best and healthy summer drink option to quench thirst. You can make rooh afza drink with water and respectively with milk.

    Here I am sharing step by step directions to make this sharbat/milkshake at home with minimal ingredients. It's a simple and easy recipe that you can prepare and store in your fridge for a day.

    Milk is full of calcium, healthy vitamins and minerals so this is the way to incorporate milk in your diet in a more healthy way. You will surely feel the difference after having this refreshing drink especially in summer. It will relax your nerves and keep you more stress-free. It will also help to improve skin glow.

    Why Does This Recipe Works?

    My mother used to make it in morning to serve with breakfast and we all love to have it. Now I am following the ritual and making for my son who is a picky eater but love to have it. So if your kids giving struggling time to have milk then offer this and I am sure they will not refuse. It's a 5-minute recipe that will keep you healthy and strong in a natural way.

    Ingredients & Substitutions

    Rooh Afza: Used the syrup.

    Milk: Take the full fat chilled milk as it makes a creamy and frothy texture.

    Sugar: Used granulated white sugar. Alternative is honey!

    Rabri Milk (Khoya/Mawa with milk): Use to give a pure desi vibe to this roohafza milkshake. Condensed milk can be use as an alternative.

    Rose Water or Kewra essence: It will add a specific rose aroma in milk. It's optional.

    Cinnamon Powder: A pinch of cinnamon powder will add an aroma and a woody flavor in milk that will give a complete vibe of desi doodh ki bottle.

    Chilled Water: Used to dilute the consistency of milk. If you like thick version of milkshake then skip the water.

    Nuts: Garnish or topped with your favorite nuts. Used coarsely ground cashews, pistachios and almonds.

    How To Make Rooh Afza With Milk

    1. In a blender, add chilled milk, powder sugar, rabri milk, rose water, a pinch of cinnamon powder.
    2. Also, add Rooh Afza syrup and Chilled Water.
    3. Add 1 teaspoon of dry nuts cashews, almonds, and pistachios.
    4. Blend all the ingredients together to make it frothy.
    5. Now in a glass, pour some Rooh Afza.
    6. Pour blended Doodh ka Sharbat in glasses.
    7. Sprinkle some dry nuts and serve.
    8. Milk Sharbat is ready.
