Kheer Recipe Card
Ingredients:
Rice - 1 cup (soaked for 4 hrs)
Milk - 1 literSugar 1 ½ cup
Kewra essence - 4 drops
Green Cardamom - 7-8
Khoya - 1 cup
Almond - Pistachio (handful)
Method:
- Blend soaked rice with ½ liter milk in a blender.
- Add cardamom powder or seeds during blending.
- Also, add ½ liter milk in a pan.
- Add the mixture of rice and milk in hot boiling milk in a pan.
- Keep stirring...
- As the mixture gets thick, add sugar and khoya and stir again until you get the texture of kheer.
- Dish it out and garnish with khoya, almond, and pistachios.
