Butter: Used unsalted American butter have neutral flavor. Irish and European can be used which is more creamier and full of beta carotene. Yes, we used the double quantity of butter to make it more rich, creamy and buttery in taste.
Garlic: Nothing can beat the taste of freshly chopped garlic. Used 5 big cloves and chopped using grater. Chopping release the sulphur compound that makes it more strong flavor. I don't want to use the garlic powder for this recipe as it totally change the garlicky taste of sauce.
Cajun Seasoning: It's a blend of spices that can easily take from pantry. Used the homemade version. Store bought can also be used.
Substitute: Creole or Blackened seasoning.
Lemon: It will add a pinching citrus flavor that makes a perfect taste in sauce. Prefer to squeeze fresh lemon juice. Don't use store bought lemon juice as it will add variation in sauce taste.
Parsley: The herbaceous aroma of freshly chopped parsley will lift the peppery and earthy aroma of sauce.
Water: Use to deglaze the sauce during cooking in case getting dry.
