About Fresh Fruit Salad
Traditionally the fruit salad or fruit chaat prepared with the combination of different seasonal fruits and adding different salad dressings according to people's taste. This recipe will give the best flavor of creamy fruit salad as it's prepared with ice cream. I used mango ice cream but you can use any type of ice cream that you like. Vanilla is best to try.

You must be curious why I am labeling this fruit salad as fruit chaat. In India and Pakistan, fruit chaat is quite common and people love to have it in a different style. Masala fruit salad is the most common recipe but now the trend is moving towards creamy fruit chaat. My inspiration to make this recipe is street food as I had a similar bowl of creamy fruit chaat on a summer evening and believe me it was incredibly refreshing and I always crave to have it again so I made it at home.
It's a great recipe to kill the scorching summer vibes. Kids will also love it. It will nourish your body with essential vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients
Ice cream: Used mango ice cream but any other flavor of ice cream can be used. Vanilla is ideal.
Condensed Milk: It will add more value to ice cream to make it thick and smooth.
Fresh Fruits: Seasonal mango cubes, banana slices, Apple (cube or sliced), Green and black grapes.
How To Make Fresh Fruit Salad
- In a mixing bowl, add ice cream and condensed milk and give it a good whisk to make the fluffy mixture.
- Now cut the fruits in slices.
- Add mango cubes, banana slices and apple slices, green and black grapes in the creamy mixture.
- Mix all the fruit through spatula.
- Fruit salad (Chaat is ready to serve)
