Indian chickpeas salad for weight loss is the best recipe that keeps me running throughout the day in a productive manner. Mostly I have it at lunch and when starving after workout. Basically, I am a true lover of Mediterranean salad and here I prepared the inspired version of chickpea salad in Indian style. Locally famous as chana salad. Fully loaded with soft and fluffy chickpeas and fresh vegetables dipped in a thick yogurt dressing that will make all the difference in taste.
Most people in Europe recognize it as garbanzo bean salad. In India and Pakistan, famous as chana salad, and in America people love to have this chickpea salad.
I personally love chickpeas and want to experiment with different recipes with it. Here I used boiled chickpeas with juicy cucumber, mouth-melting tomatoes, soft and starchy boiled potatoes, and chopped onion with a spicy yogurt salad dressing that makes it perfect for Indian taste buds.

Boiled Chickpea: Soft and fluffy chickpeas are good in taste. I used home-boiled dried chickpeas. Canned can be used!
Fresh Veggies: Cucumber | Boiled Potatoes | Tomato Cubes | Onion (Chopped) | Green chilies
Salad Dressing: Yogurt seasoned with salt, red chili powder, and black pepper.
How to Make
In a salad bowl add boiled chickpeas, cucumber cubes, boiled potato cubes, chopped onion, green chilies, and tomato cubes (without skin).
Prepare yogurt salad dressing: add yogurt to a bowl. Season with salt, red chilies, and black pepper also add chopped green chilies. Mix it well and pour the yogurt into the chickpea salad bowl. Toss it well. and serve!
