You can also make this with Velveeta the proceed cheese and mostly people use it. Last time, I tried with Colby Jack and it turned out so well.

- When adding milk to butter and flour, give it a quick stir otherwise the sauce will show a lumpy texture.
- In case, your sauce shows a lumpy texture then blend it with an electric beater or whisk.
- Use full-fat milk to make this sauce.
- You can play with seasoning to give it a different flavor like make it garlicky by adding garlic powder or add the chicken powder to add chicken flavor.
- In the same way, you can also use different variations of cheese.
- Don't make the sauce too thick otherwise, it will form a block shape after few hours.
- If your sauce becomes too thick then add milk to adjust the sauce consistency.

- As the sauce starts to get thick and forms a smooth texture then

- Continuously stir the sauce until it forms a blended smooth texture.
- Thickens the sauce on low flame as per your desired requirements.
