Quick Tips
- Don't overroast the semolina.
- Roast semolina on low flame and keep stirring until it becomes aromatic.
- Food color is optional. If you don't want yellow color then skip the food color.
- 1.5 cup semolina is enough to make 5 barfi pieces (medium size).
- Desiccated coconut will add flavor to barfi.
- Monitor the quantity of sugar syrup to make a perfect barfi cut. If there is less sugar syrup or more then the barfi texture may collapse.
