    Bread Omelette Sandwich Recipe

    Nothing is more tempting to have in breakfast that can prepare within 10 minutes. This omelette sandwich recipe is prepared with beaten eggs batter, seasoned with salt and pepper along with some veggies then cooked with butter to form a nice and fluffy omelette. Layered with toasted bread slices on a grilled skillet pan.

    Ingredients & Substitutions

    Eggs: Used 2 big size eggs to make 4 half cut sandwiches.

    Onion: chopped onions used. Red, purple, and white onion are best to use in this recipe.

    Green Chilies: It's optional! but use if you like to have spicy flavor. Green chili can be substitute with chopped jalapenos.

    Fresh Coriander: Will add an warm aroma however can be substitute with freshly chopped parsley.

    Seasoning: salt, and red chili powder. Paprika is the option to replace the red chili.

    Butter: Used to cook the omelette and to toast the bread slices.

    Bread Slices: Any white or brown bread can be used.

    How To Make Omelette Sandwich Recipe

    1. Preparation of Omelette: In a bowl, add eggs, chopped onion, green chillies, fresh coriander, salt and red chilli powder and beat it to make it the fluffy mixture.
    2. Now heat up the frying pan.
    3. Brush butter in pan.
    4. Pour ½ of the eggs mixture in heated pan and cook it for about ½  minute on medium heat.
    5. Turn the omelette and fry for ½ minute.
    6. Toast the Bread: Now toast the bread from both sides.
    7. Make Sandwich: cut omelette into pieces and place properly in bread to make a sandwich.
    8. After making a sandwich, dip the sandwich into the remaining egg mixture.
    9. Fry the sandwich again to give it colour from both sides.
    10. Omelette sandwich is ready! Serve the sandwich with hot coffee or tea.

    Tips For Omelette Sandwich

    • You can make variations in omelette batter as per the choices.
    • Always cook the eggs on medium temperature to make it fluffy and fully cooked.
    • Addition of veggies like spinach, bell peppers, carrots, and broccoli will make it more healthy.
    • Seasoning of salt and pepper is enough to give it a taste.
    • Avoid to toast bread slices on high heat. You can also use toaster to toast the slices.
    • At medium to low heat toasting will make the sandwich more crispy in texture.
    • If you want to make it crispy for long time then don't cover it right after cooking. 
    • To add a cheesy flavor, add cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or cottage) while layering omelet. 
    • Grilled pan used in this recipe is only to give nice marks on toast. You can also make it in a regular pan.

    Serving Idea

    It's best to serve the hot sandwiches with Karak chai, homemade cappuccino or chilled glass of dalgona coffee.

    Easy to pair up with oven fries, cajun fries or with some honey butter skillet corns or roasted potatoes.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Eggs
    • ½ tablespoon Chopped Onion
    • 2 Green Chilies chopped
    • 1 teaspoon Fresh Coriander chopped
    • 2 pinches Salt (To Taste)
    • ¼ teaspoon Red Chili Powder Substitute: Paprika
    • 1 tablespoon Butter To fry Omelette
    • 4 Bread Slices

    Instructions

    Prepare Eggs For Omelette

    • In a bowl, add eggs, chopped onion, green chilies, fresh coriander, salt, and red chili powder and beat it to make it a fluffy mixture.
    • Heat up the frying pan and add butter in the pan at low heat.
    • Pour ½ of the eggs mixture in heated pan and cook it for about ½ minute on medium heat.
    • Flip and cook from the other side.
    • Take it out! and keep it on a side.

    Toast Bread Slices

    • Brush butter in a pan and toast the bread slices from both sides at medium heat.
    • Use a grill pan to get marks on the toast. (optional)

    Layer to Make Sandwich

    • Cut the omelette into pieces and layer it properly on bread slice to make a sandwich. Cover with other bread slice.

    Refrying

    • Now dip the sandwich into the remaining egg mixture.
    • Brush the pan with butter and fry the sandwich again to give it a sharp toasted color and visible grilled marks from both sides.
    • Omelette sandwich is ready! Serve the sandwich with hot coffee or tea.
